Even by Ferraris unique standards, the 599 GTB Fiorano has had a rapturous reception as it has been launched around the world, says Kevin Wall, the General Manager for European Automotive Imports, the Australian and New Zealand Ferrari distributor. Time and time again, the 599 GTB has been described as the best car in world, the greatest super car of all time, the ultimate useable supercar. | | | 5 2007 Babe Magnets | | Posted Tuesday, September 26, 2006 6:46:03 AM by Blog57 Team | | There is a list of accomplishments each man sets out to complete throughout his life: complete an education, land a high-paying job, find a loving and beautiful wife, start a family, and finally retire comfortably. Nestled nicely between the high-paying job and finding a beautiful wife, lies a dream to obtain the ultimate symbol of success that will improve his outlook on life. Good looking cars have long been associated with good looking women. And there is some truth in the vehicular connection of woman and machine: Attractive women love attractive cars. It’s all about a certain look, a certain attitude, and some cars speak for themselves -- sometimes with their name alone. Most women won’t care about the power-to-weight ratio of a vehicle, but they’ll quickly decide whether or not a car looks hot.... | |

| | | The Flagship of the Ferrari Range | | Posted Saturday, August 26, 2006 4:46:05 PM by Blog57 Team | | The flagship car in the Ferrari range, this 2+2 model signals a genuine break with the past. Ferrari has changed the rules of the game with the 612 Scaglietti to suit the tastes and needs of a highly sophisticated clientele which now demands elegance and dynamic comfort as well as blistering performance. The 612 Scaglietti is very much a third millennium product, offering a whole new generation of technologies compared to the 2+2 it replaces. In fact, it isnt really a 2+2 at all but more a genuine roomy two-door four-seater that offers its occupants a comfortable, pleasant ride in all driving conditions. Grand Tourers are a real Ferrari tradition: the Prancing Horse marque built its first 12-cylinder 2+2 in 1948 (the 166 Inter, bodied by Touring), and then added other famous models clothed by such celebrated names as Ghia, Pinin Farina, and Vignale.... | |

| | | Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Wallpaper* magazine edition | | Posted Thursday, August 03, 2006 8:45:54 PM by Blog57 Team | | We recently reported on the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti that Wallpaper* magazine's art staff would be designing and have on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Well, the finished product is out, and while it's certainly very nice, its special nature is not immediately apparent. In fact, at first glance it looks surprisingly stock. Created using Ferrari's Carrozzeria Scaglietti personlization/customization program, the big GT sports a subtle two-tone paint scheme that combines the colors Nero and Blu Pozzi. Unfortunately, the combination is so understated, the color differences are not readily apparent in the photos released. It sounds elegant, but it's probably better appreciated when viewed in person. That two-tone theme is carried inside as well, where it is a bit more discernible. The Daytona-style seats are done in Nero and Blu Scuro leather, with Blu stitching adding additional contrast throughout the car.... | |

"The heritage and beauty of these cars are one aspect of the enjoyment of Historic races," said Parlato.
