Analyses of Luxury Marques- a Must-See!

I've written this article up to remind everyone what the meaning of this site is, what we love. We're enthusiasts. Luxury cars are good cars; that's final. Anyone who thinks BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti, Jaguar, Cadillac, Acura, Volvo or Saab makes a bad car doesn't deserve a place on this website. Acura- A bit like the Japanese equivalent of Audi, Acura is a surprisingly high seller with unappreciated models. The TSX is really very good. Audi- Underestimated "intelligent luxury" brand that's way better than some people (cough-cough-logical-cough) think. Anyone who thinks Audi isn't as good as the lemmings obviously hasn't driven the RS4, or my car, for that matter. Also, they have the hallmark interiors, of course.BMW- The perennial overachiever, BMW is possibly the most respected sports-sedan maker that Europe has to offer....

If you were looking for an excuse to dust off that powder blue tuxedo hidden in the back of your closet, you may have just found one. On September 9, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic will be hosting the "Blue Moon Gala" - an event with a theme that appropriately matches its title - at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre. The "Blue Moon Gala" is an important event for the NEPA Philharmonic because it is the largest fundraiser of the year. According to Steve Parulski, director of marketing and public relations, the fundraiser is also special this year because the Philharmonic will mark its 35th anniversary. The title of the event was chosen because it will be anything but typical. The evening will include a merging of classical and rock music, something unique and novel for the Philharmonic....

2 models of Honda quality

Americans on trips to Japan and Europe can't help but wonder why dozens of great car models on the streets there aren't sold here. Most explanations are simple: Manufacturers don't have the factory capacity or engines can't be modified for U.S. emissions standards. And truthfully, many manufacturers just aren't imaginative or wealthy enough to try it. ....

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--Aug. 8, 2006--New "top ten" lists from Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, help consumers understand which vehicles hold their values well and which do not. "Vehicles with higher expected residual values have lower monthly lease payments and higher resale values," explains Warren Clarke, Content Editor at Edmunds.com, who compiled the lists. "On the other hand, vehicles with lower projected residual values can often be purchased at bargain prices whether new or used." The lists show the percentage of its original value that each vehicle is likely to retain after five years, assuming a total of 75,000 miles. Residual value percentages are based on the national Edmunds.com True Market Value(R) (TMV(R)) price for a vehicle equipped with typical options, plus destination charge....
